What is Topeka Gives? Topeka Gives is a one-day event that celebrates the Topeka Community Foundation's 30th Anniversary. Individuals can make a donation to 75 participating nonprofit organizations from Topeka, including Child Care Aware® of Northeast & North Central Kansas. The Topeka Community Foundation will then provide $30,000 in "match" money for donations made that day. This match is a pro-rated match based on the percentage given to each organization. How and where can you donate? Contributions made by check, cash or credit card will be accepted inside Fairlawn Plaza Mall on 21st and Fairlawn in Topeka. Contributions must be made in person at the Fairlawn Plaza Mall during the Topeka Gives event on June 19. Check out our booth and stop by for singing and learning! We will have a booth inside Fairlawn Plaza Shopping Mall from 7 am to 6 pm that demonstrates the power of play in relevance to early childhood learning. Singing Sarah, a board-certified music therapist, will also be leading 30 minutes filled with music and learning at 10:30 am on June 19. Bring the kids and join in on the FUN!!!
